Celebrate Brazil, Argentina and more at the Copa!

Celebrate Brazil, Argentina and more at the Copa!

By Luke Porco

The 2019 Copa America will begin June 14 in Brazil. The world’s oldest international tournament will feature countries such as defending champion Chile, host country Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, as well as Japan and Qatar as invitees. There will be many chances to buy flags of the countries competing in the tournament, so you can support your country either in person or wherever you are throughout the world. Many of them are already on sale due to the Women's World Cup.

Chile is looking for their third straight, and third overall, Copa America championship. They will have tough competition to go up against in Argentina and Brazil. Since they are the host country, Brazil supporters will be in full force, so expect a lot of Brazilian flags to be displayed throughout the tournament. If you are a Brazil supporter, or just want to have the flag, you can buy the Brazilian flag here.

The pressure is not only on host nation Brazil -- which will be without injured star Neymar -- but also on Lionel Messi and Argentina. Messi, outside of a 2008 Olympic gold medal, has failed to win a major international tournament since joining La Albicelestas, who have finished runnerup in four of the last five Copa America tournaments.

The group stage will begin June 14, and the top two teams from each of the three groups will advance, along with the two best third place teams. Those teams will then go on to the knockout stage, which goes from June 27 to the final on July 7. The finals will be played in Rio, at the Maracanã.

Other than Brazil flags, you can buy flags for Argentina and Japan for the tournament, as well. If your country’s flag is not available, please let us know and we will make sure we have it.
